Welcome to Meepah Ventures, LLC
Family Farm since 1813
In addition to bringing back a working farm, our goal is to have all visitors feel welcome. We want everyone to think of the farm as the home-place. We want to make it a place to share fun and adventures combining work and fun.
We are Tony & Debbie Wambaugh. She is Mimi. He is Grandpa. Together we are MeePah. If you ask the grandkids, there is always an adventure at Mimi & Grandpa’s farm.
We are a family-owned alpaca farm located in the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains in scenic Bedford County, PA. We are currently home to a herd of huacuya alpacas. Our farm has been in the family since 1813, though not actively farmed by the family since the 1970’s. We hope to revitalize the farm with adventure. We are in love with alpacas. First for the incredibly soft products created with their fiber, then for their small stature and gentle manners. Most recently, we are captivated with the personality of the individual animals as they interact with us, each other, our Livestock Guard Dog, Lilly, and the barn cats. We hope to share the enjoyment of these serene animals. We offer farm tours and opportunities to interact with the animals. Shop for unique gifts at our farm store, experience a day in the life of an alpaca farmer or just spend quiet time in the pasture with these curious and serene animals. Come check us out and learn more about our story and each of the animals here. See if you don’t fall in love too!!
Stop by and talk anytime you see us out and about. Barn and pasture tours are by appointment only so we can assure that the alpacas are available.
